The International Medical Travel Exhibition & Conference (IMTEC) was held in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, UAE (United Arab Emirates) between 06-08.10.2015.

Although coming to the end of summer season with its growing potential, Turkey still continues to be an attraction for tourists. Foreign tourists are reported to be continuing to choose Turkey as a holiday destination.
Last year, Turkey welcomed nearly 26 million visitors between the January – August period and this year, the statistics show the visitor number maintains the same level with an increase from specific visitor countries such as Germany, England, USA and Iran. The top cities being frequently visited by foreign tourists are Istanbul and Antalya and also Istanbul showed an increase by 7% when compared with last years visitor numbers.
“We expect to have over 38 million tourists coming by the end of the year and tourism revenues reach $35 billion.” Başaran Ulusoy, the president of Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) told in the press release, adding that this would mark a reasonable boost in the number of tourists compared to last year.
One of the reasons why Turkey has been less affected by the adverse effects of the turmoil in the region is the changing perception about the country, Ulusoy said. “Turkey is not the same country as it was during the first Gulf crisis. People know that Turkey is a secure country.” he added.

During the five days of intensive training the participants got acquainted with basic principles of Occupational Health and conducted two audit visits to marble cutting unit and restaurant kitchen.

marmassistance management team gathered to have brain storming questionnaire conference with the moderation of Mr. Tınaz Titiz on 20th of June, 2015 in Re-De Center of Teknopark, Istanbul.
During the conference, an evalution of marmassistance history was made. Targets and aims for 2015 and the latter years were negotiated. New methods that will be applied to reach targets and sustain the quality which has been going on for years have been clarified.
Core-reasons that might pave the way to unwanted results in the meanwhile of the application of the determined strategies and decisions made were discussed. Questions that would enable us to see core reasons and clues to realistic answers to them all; have been determined. Main rules of the questionnaire conference were designated as not to have any rules at all, adoption of the concept of total freedom of expression, and brain storming.
Subjects of work results, workplace climate, assets, market, competencies, values, our technological specialities, our customers and the last and foremost of all our future planning were handled and evaluted separately. Action plans for the today and future of marmassistance were prepared with regards to all ideas formed and suggestions made. It was discussed that conditions like software system support, new products and customer gain, human resources and getting high efficiency of it, sales and marketing factors; which would be sustained for the new projects, play important roles.
Meeting was terminated with a friendly conversation in the mood of a feeling of fulfillment sustained as a result of team spirit and common sense achieved.
On the 4th & 5th of June 2015, the 3rd Annual Travel Insurance Forum was held in Istanbul Turkey. The participants of insurance companies, assistance companies, underwriters, hospitals and ambulance companies benefitted from worldwide networking opportunities.
Mr. Jan Sander, Vice President, was one of the speakers with the subject of “Best-practice strategies for managing travel insurance claims for maximum operational efficiency and minimized costs.” He shared his 20 years of experience as a top executive working at the strategic as well as the operational levels with travel insurance, assistance and international networks.
