On the 4th & 5th of June 2015, the 3rd Annual Travel Insurance Forum was held in Istanbul Turkey. The participants of insurance companies, assistance companies, underwriters, hospitals and ambulance companies benefitted from worldwide networking opportunities.
Mr. Jan Sander, Vice President, was one of the speakers with the subject of “Best-practice strategies for managing travel insurance claims for maximum operational efficiency and minimized costs.” He shared his 20 years of experience as a top executive working at the strategic as well as the operational levels with travel insurance, assistance and international networks.
Mr. Sander was also honored to be one of the speakers at the panel session, the subject being “challenges in fraud and investigation” as well as being the table moderator of an interactive launch.

Our new team members’ trainings have just been completed by Telephone Doctor; which is one of the most outstanding consultancy companies in Turkey just before the seazon gets started.
Our colleagues; who have to deal with different problems have been trained on how to find solutions to the problems of tough customers on phone with ‘Effective Communication Skills’ courses. They had two days of fun by acting out demos of fake calls with team work besides theoretical information.

He worked in leading insurance companies in the Nordics, as well as large assistance organisations.Mr. Sander joined marmassistance in May 2015 and since then he enriches marmassistance with his specialities in strategy and leadership, sales, marketing and communication, international realtions and network and comprehensive knowledge in roadside and medical assistance.

marmassistance was one of the participants of ITIC; held in Windsor, UK on 6-7 MAY 2015 at HARTE & GARTER SPA Hotel. The conference’s focus was UK’s travel insurance industry. marmassistance had the chance to hear about innovations, latest developments in travel insurance industry & local UK insurance market and marmassistance was very excited about sharing thoughts with market leaders, listening the new ideas of the keynote speakers and creating new business opportunities in the networking breaks during the debates.
marmassistance was also interested in being a part of the audience the most important and special discussion topics of the event including significant reflections provided by the Financial Ombudsman Service. Also, some innovative discussions were held about the future of medical screening and increasing trend of the US healthcare prices. The European Commission’s latest developments of European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC) attracted quite attention by all the participants during the conference.
The conference was buttoned up with the great One Night Comedy Show in Windsor which was an event that everyone attended & enjoyed as the night came to a conclusion.

The change in weather and climate conditions during mid season makes vehicle maintenance for spring as important as winter maintenance. To obtain a safe and comfortable ride, marmassistance experts have specified which types of maintenance your car should need after winter.
The bacterias consisted after cold and humid winter days at air conditioning systems, may make you and your loved ones sick. For this reason, during spring maintenance, the air conditioning system should be cleaned and purged from all bacterias, the cooling level should be measured, the refrigerant should be checked and refilled if necessary.
